First thing you have to understand about God, He does not like negativity. In regards to praying for your enemies, please the following extract from the Bible which is our guidance to understanding God, in the book of Matthew Chapter 5: Verses 38-45

"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' .... But if any one strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also; and if any one would sue you and take your coat, let him have your cloak as well; and if any one forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to him who begs from you, and do not refuse him who would borrow from you. You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust." (Matthew 5:38-45 RSV)

Follow that teaching by Jesus, and blessings will follow you all the days of your life.

I say very transparently God never listents to any one! Surprised? Yes! It is true. Your prayer about your neighbour gives you a positive strength and a feeling of consolation. That is the purpose of the prayer.
Coming to the point. Problems are the consequences of our own actions! We sholud accept the result. Some problems come as a consequence without our involvement. In this case we need not to worry! Because the result never affect us!
This is Universal Law like Neuton's Principle of motion- every action has its own reaction.
Prayer gives you confidence.
When you pray God for your friends-your agony about your friend will be decreased. That gives you a little satisfaction. But in fact we should face our reactions when we commit an action. Whether it is good reaction or bad is denpended upon or action.
Good Action----- Good Result
Bad Action--------Bad Result
Prayer------------Gives you confidence and content.

It's never good to ever wish bad on anyone. Jesus said, If you do this to the least of my brethren you do it unto me. To judge not and ye shall not be judged. So therefore we are to pray for your enemies and pray for people who annoy us. We are to love all people and pray they will mature in God and that God will help them. Love is the greatest gift God gave to us. So in order to be a light shining for Christ. We must use the love God gave to us to love others. AMEN

We should pray for those who are annoying us for several different reasons: first, because God tells us to in the Bible.

Second, because if we pray for them, God can change their hearts and the annoying behavior.

Third, because it heals "us". We are annoyed only because something is not right within our own souls. God will change "us" to love others more perfectly and have more patience in this way.

Fourth - we are called to love and forgive and that's all there is to it.
