How to pray
One of the greatest weapons a Christian has in his / her arsenal is prayer. What is prayer? Prayer as described by most theologians is a spiritual communion with God, as in worship, supplication, thanksgiving, adoration, or confession. Yes, as a Christian, you probably do all of the former and worship the Lord faithfully, however the most important part of a prayer to God is listening out for His response to your prayer. Some Christians pray earnestly, however as soon as the prayer is complete, they get right up and walk away before listening out for God`s response to their prayer. We as human beings have the tendency to think about ourselves most of the time. We talk and say things that are always centered around who we are, or what we want. We need to take time to listen to God`s voice after you pray and you will be surprised by the number of times He will respond to you. I will not get too deep into this, however will continue this topic with how to hear God`s voice. Any of your comments are welcome, as I suppose if you say Hi to someone, you always expect that someone to say Hi too, rather than saying hi and just walking away.
