simply pray to God to give you strong conviction if she/he is the right one for you. also, if she/he matches you dream guy/girl.. then she/he is most likely the one that God designed suitable and just perfect for you. and God has the perfect timing for it.. when you are prepared to face it. :)
For me it's okay for a man to raise children alone, in my case I could do so. I don't know how will the other see it. How would you response in a situation like a helpless child with no place to stay and home or family to consider? wouldnt you help that child?

Hi sister Happy!Nice question.The Bible tells us to seek counsel and advice before embarking on any major decision for in a multitude of counsel,things do not go wrong.Well,on my part,I would like to approach it in the early stages of a relationship when one is selecting a candidate for marriage.There are some important factors to consider.You see when you are choosing a life partner,its someone who you will spend the rest of your life with.Once you've made that choice,there is no turning back.Once the 2 of you have committed each other before God & before the Pastor,its sealed in heaven & the Bible clearly states that God hates divorce.Thus you need God's leading and guidance as well as insight when making this important decision.Many people usually go after chemistry(physical attraction) as their first priority which isn't bad.But,considering the time when you are going to spend together(lifetime),if you married because of it,what if the chemistry dies?Will the marriage still hold? You see,there are other more important factors which one needs to consider which I call the Compatibility factor i.e how well you blend with each other.Do you share the same values,interests,ambitions and visions?Well basically there are 7 areas of compatibility one needs to look at.(1)spiritual harmony-do you share the same religious affiliation or same level of spirituality? (2)verbal intimacy/honesty (3)Energy level e.g if u enjoy low key activities while your partner is all about extreem outdoor sports you may want to put that into consideration.(4)Role expectations-If you want to be the independent working class lady while your partner believes that women should be the traditional stay at home moms, there is a problem. (5) Interests-All of us have different interests.The question here is can the 2 of you sacrifice to have time for each others' interests? (6)Ambition level- If you are zealous for a certain dream/project/idea while your partner is the first person to oppose it/fight it- heed caution. (7)Persona habits e.g good hygiene,drinking & eating habits,cleanliness etc may be overlooked at first but may be bothersome in the future.Try to come to an agreement on such issues.Choose wisely!
